The book entitled “Iranian Women Under Rouhani” was published by The Women’s Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran. This book highlights the abuse of women’s rights since Hassan Rouhani took office.
Dozens of women are being arrested as a result of their protesting. aAny have been arrested for their religion and beliefs.
“In October 2014, Reyhaneh Jabbari, 26, was hanged for defending herself against an agent of the Iranian regime’s Intelligence Ministry, a man who intended to rape her. According to the state-run Tabnak website, psychological disorders among women are up 26% and women have an 11% higher depression rate than men.
