NCRI – This past Saturday, Iranians held a rally in support of human rights in Iran and to denounce the soaring rate of executions in Iran during Hassan Rouhani’s Presidency.
Many banners were held up condemning the appalling human rights abuses by the mullahs’ regime, including the more than 2000 executions carried out under Rouhani. Posters showing examples of human rights violations carried out by the mullahs’ regime were held and walked around with.
The supporters of the Iranian Resistance chanted slogans in support of democratic change in Iran. The rally was met with widespread local support from French citizens as well.
More than 120,000 political prisoners, the vast majority affiliated to the main Iranian opposition group People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI or MEK), have been executed in the past 34 years by the mullahs’ regime.
